(Before starting the recipe procedure let me tell you that I took small quantity of spices just to give taste to the plain wheat flour since our curry already has all the spices added to it before do not add more)

  • Take Atta in a mixing Bowl and add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and 1/2 tea spoon oil.
  • Mix it well.
  • Now to this add beetroot curry and combine everything together by mixing well.
  • Keep adding little quantity of water to make a smooth dough out of it
  • Add remaing 1/2 tea spoon oil and knead the dough.
  • Leave the dough to rest for 10-15 Minutes.
  • Again Knead the dough to ensure its smooth.
  • Make small round balls out of the dough.(I prefer medium size and thin roti's so took 1 big lemon size balls)
  • Flatten the dough ball to make a chapathi.
  • Heat the Tawa/Skillet.
  • Roast Chapathi on both sides with little oil.
  • Serve this Beetroot chapathi/roti with dahi/boondhi raita and pickle.
