Detoxifying Drink 1 (Strawberry, ginger, lemon)


I am sure everyone of us know about the detox drink and the benefits we get from it. There are many recipes available online. Today let me share the one that I started to enjoy offlate but before getting into it let us know some info about this magical drink. Frankly I was not a water lover I use to consume very less water even though knowing about the wonders it do on skin and health. I never use to like the taste of water since I started to take care of my health  now by following good diet I make sure to drink atleast 3ltrs of water per day.

As I told u I don't like the taste of water I started searching for various recipes that can add little taste and more health benefits to it.

 In that process I have found some super amazing drinks which cools down your body by boosting it. There are also number of readymade drinks available but its always better to do it yourself at home which gives you more kick and fun to continue not to stop drinking if you are also not a fan of water like me.

Firstly let's know What is Detox Drink? In simple terms we know drinking water keeps our body hydrated and flushes toxins out. Detox Drink does the same thing with an extra beneficial acts from the infused fruits/veggies such as reducing weight, giving glowing skin, boosting all organs in our body. Different kind of fruit vegetables you add to your drink gives different results.

The one that I'm sharing is my recent favourite of the many that I tried. As its summers here in USA I choose to add the fruits that keeps me active and fresh throughout the day.

All you need is

  • 2-3 Strawberries cut into half (cutting is optional)
  • 2 one inch ginger pieces
  • 2 lemon slices 
  • 1/2 ltr water


Use a clean tumbler or a mason jar or any fruit infuse jar put all the above in it add water to it and enjoy the drink.



Once the water gets over fill again and drink do it all through the day. For the next day you can use different fruits/vegetables according to your liking or even the same recipe!!

I like this one more because of the berries which gives that sweet sour taste with ginger and citrus flavour.

Benefits:

  • Strawberries are an excellent antioxidant enriched with vitamins and nutrients helps to reduce weight and helps in increasing the immunity levels.
  • Ginger helps in digestion problems and also refreshes your mood. Its good for headaches and other pains.
  • Lemon is a great source of vitamin c which is very good for skin. It makes you active and energetic.


Daily consuption of this drink helps with the weight loss problems and keeps you fresh active all day long!!
