My First Ever Michael Kors

So happy to share my new watch from Michael Kors!! Being a watch lover but still not own many of them this brand watch was definetly in my wish list and Finally it happend to be on our wedding anniversary as a gift from hubby.

Wedding Anniversary gift = Favourite Watch is a big YAY!!

This is a beautiful Chronograph watch from Michael Kors Parker collection with model number MK6238. The perfect combination of navy blue with gold tone is what I liked a lot about it though the same combo might not go well with lot of outfits but still this watch with perfect outfit will be stunning.

There were many colors in this collection but I went with this one. The moment I saw it in one of the outlet malls I fell for it and instant love has happend <3.

The Product details as mentioned are
  • Gold tone stainless steel & navy tort acetate bracelet.
  • Round case 39mm with glitz set bezel
  • Light gold chronograph dial with numeral and glitz indices three hands, three subdials, date window and MK logo
  • Quartz movement

Menu Planning for Guest - Simple Indian Menu

Last Month we had one of our Friend's Family visiting our place for Lunch. So my preparation have started two days before like making the menu list (keeping our friends taste in mind), buying all the grocery for the cooking items and planning everything in advance.

Guest visiting our home and that too for lunch or dinner, preparing everything for them on time is little hectic but planning the menu before and making small preparations in advance will make us feel lot more relief and we can welcome our guest with all smiles and confident.

Lets see what my preparations were for the special lunch..
Since my menu was Simple Indian cuisine I kind of combined both south indian and north indian recipes!!

My menu included

  • Mixed Salad
  • Moong dal(green gram) vada with Peanut chutney
  • Dry Chilli Chicken
  • Veg Rice
  • Egg kurma(punjabi style)
  • Onion tomato raita
  • Putharekulu from India Parcel(forgot to take pic)
Preparations made in advance..
  • For moong dal vada soaked moong dal a day before for 5-6 hrs then grinded it coursely at night and stored it in the fridge.
  • Marinated the chicken with spices and kept in the fridge overnight. This not only saves our time but also increases the chicken taste.
  • Prepared onion tomato paste for egg kurma in advance.
This way most of our time will be saved and all our food items will be on time hot and ready for our dear guest!! Since this is a simple menu for a small family it was easy preparing things in advance but in future posts lets also discuss on big fat menu and its preparations.

For desert served Putharekulu that we got from India Parcel.

This is what our Friends brought for us isn't tempting!! :)

See you with another post till then have a good time!!
